Ate here at 6pm, and it was delicious. Kids had some california rolls, wife had a philly roll, and I had the seaweed salad. Service was quick, food was fresh, and place was clean. Definitely would recommend.

I've lived in Gresham area my entire life and this is the only sushi restaurant that is actually worth trying. The prices are unbeatable. I've gone here 4 times already, and the meeka 2 and meeka 3 rolls have impressed me every time. The salmon sashimi plate is generous-8 pieces for only $14, which is an insane price!
The only downside is that there is normally only one server and one or two sushi chefs, so don't be fooled by the open tables-you will wait a long time. We waited around 45 minutes to receive our first rolls and an hour to receive all of our food. The server does a good job for how hectic and high stress her job is, but she does lack kindness and rushes you. This last time I went, I didn't get a chance to confirm which sashimi order I wanted before she yanked the menu out of my hand. She ended up giving me the 8 pieces of $14 when I had asked for the smaller order for $5.95. I understand that she was busy, but I do think she could do a better job at treating the customers better....
Meeka sushi is great for 181st/Gresham area, but they definitely need to hire more staff! -

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled. I wanted to like this place since it is so close to home. The restaurant is very mediocre, especially for the price. I felt I could have gotten comparable chicken teriyaki and miso from the mall food court for way less money. The chicken is dry with not much sauce, the miso is bland, and I also got California rolls which had an imitation crab that was grocery store quality. I was thinking of trying their sushi, but I don't think I want to any longer.

I've been coming to Meeka for the last year or so. This place never disappoints. Their sushi is so delicious and fresh, and their crab meat is delicious! Their service is always wonderful and the price is awesome.
When you come in, there are 2 sections.. the regular booth and table section, or the section on the left side where the ambience is more fun for groups.
Salad with a creamy mayo type dressing is given out on all orders and the friendly server gives you a regular menu and a sushi menu.
Def one of the best sushi spots on this side of town! -
